Smiley Crochet Giraffe
Make your kids laugh with this Smiley Crochet Giraffe. This adorable crochet amigurumi pattern takes a typical four-legged giraffe and turns it into one that can stand and wave at you. Kids will have so much fun with this crochet giraffe that they will want to play with an entire zoo. You can work it up in yellow and brown to look more realistic, or use brown and red to make a more imaginative amigurumi giraffe. From horn to toe, this cute little giraffe stands at about 13 inches tall.

All free crochet is a very addicting site! I go to look for a pattern and then I realize an hour has flown by. But hey I have saved many patterns and looked and a lot of very creative people's pages lol. This giraffe is too stinking adorable. I checked out the pattern before I saved it. I found it to be very well written with a super video for us that are new to making toys. My kids are grown, but lots of friends becoming grandma's that I can make toys for. I love the idea of coming up with your own custom toys just by changing the colors of this little guy...or hey little gal with alot of pink and a bow )

This happy fellow reminds me of the Toys R Us mascot, Geoffrey. Hes part of the designers Little Big Foot collection, so the pattern has been revised and tested. There is an instructional video as well as photos scattered throughout the instructions. These are especially helpful in placing the spots as the designer shows the giraffe from all sides. There is also a collection of photos at the end of the post.
