Princess Leia-Inspired Amigurumi
"Learn to crochet this Princess Leia inspired Amigurumi doll. It is a great way to crochet toys. This little doll was inspired by Princess Leia. I wanted to make a tribute to Carrie Fisher. I have always been a Star Wars fan and so I thought this would be a fun way to remember Carrie Fisher. May the Force be with you Carrie Fisher, RIP. I hope you enjoy this pattern. It uses basic stitches and techniques. I have included the written pattern along with links for a full YouTube video tutorial."
NotesThis little Ami doll is a fun and easy way to begin crocheting toys. It uses basic stitches. Along with the written pattern on my blog I have also included the links to my free YouTube video tutorials for those who prefer a video series. You will also learn one of the techniques I use when adding hair to my dolls. Enjoy and share with your friends. Sharing is caring.

My husband has an extremely talented cousin who is a professional artist. Shes a huge Star Wars fan, too, and was just crushed when Carrie Fisher suddenly passed away. Danni created a special set of portraits for herself, and Im going to make this sweet little doll as another remembrance for her. The pattern is easy to follow, and the designer has posted a set of instructional videos as well.

I have always loved Star Wars over Star Trek. So I am a fan already. I have never made any amigurumi items so I hope they are not difficult to make. Yolanda, I have been crocheting for many years, but would this be a good project for a beginner amigurumi item or should I start with something easier. If so, what would you recommend?

This is so cute and such a sweet way to honor Carrie Fisher. I'm sure many Star Wars fans would love to receive this a gift.
