Of all the amugurumi patterns, the food patterns are still my favorite. I have added this one to the ever growing collection. Breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day because it can be prepared with a lot less effort than the other meals of the day. I love this mini bacon and egg pattern.

I whipped up a couple of sets of these for our church nursery. They have a play kitchen, so toy food items are always a welcome donation. This is also an excellent project for Beginners, too. The bacon is worked as a ripple stitch, and the egg just flat circles. Although the designer calls for a double layer, I only made a single and it worked out just fine for my purposes.

Here is a pattern for beginners when it comes to amigurumi. They are a cute and vintage-y gift for kids and family members with little ones who want to be like mommy in the kitchen! I appreciate this pattern being available here, as I can have a place to save the pattern to my list of "to-do's".
