So, I am baby sitting my Grand Kitty that thinks he is a dog. (We have two Chihuahuas) and this little stuffed Jenny the crochet cat kinda looks like him. He is jet black and have like a zillion name because no one but his parent can say his name. The neighbor calls him Panther. Since his Dad has entrusted me with his car, I will send him a stand in until he can come back from him.

Jenny the Cat is a wonderful project if youre looking for the next step up from basic beginner amigurumi. You only have a few basic shapes to deal with, no tricky stitches, and at 10 inches tall, quick to work up. The pattern is well written and easy to understand. If youre looking to go beyond your first attempts at arigurumi, this is the project for you.

This is so cute and so in time. My great niece is allergic to cats. She is five and doesn't understand it isn't her fault or really the cats either. I am going to make a couple of these up for her birthday, in different colors. Thanks for giving me the chance to make her very happy!
