When doing the body, on the decrease row 13 on Pattern for either mice there is 5 sts left. Why is that please

I live near a nursing home and that will be so handy for those who have a small room and not any room for a Christmas tree. They could put it on a dresser and still feel very festive. I love it!!

I MADE THESE AND MADE A SMALL ONE AND PUT IT IN A PENNY MATCH BOX WITH A TINY AFGHAN OVER IT NOW THE FAMILY WAS COMPLETE
