"Amigurumi GIR from invader zimm. In his green dog suit, with a removable hood! I would say this is an easy make. for any Invader zimm fan. This pattern came about, because of a birthday. A friend of mine loves the invader Zimm series. I wanted to make him a GIR. Also wanted it to be different, as there are few free patterns for GIR. So to add my spin, he has a removable hood! So you can see both robot GIR and DOG suit GIR."

I have no idea where this character come fromprobably ought to ask one of my grandchildrenbut it looks like an interesting project. It would be easy enough to alter the face to reflect a different character or just as a plain doll. I do love the addition of the doggy costume. Thats not something you see everyday with an amigurumi project.

Hi, this is the first bit of real feedback I've recieved for this project! thank you so much. I enjoy making things a bit quirky. And yes he's a character from the cartoon 'invader zimm'.
