Friendly Jellyfish
"This little jellyfish promises not to sting! Made from soft cotton yarn, he's about 15 inches long, depending on how long you make his streamers. These little creatures would make great mobiles for nurseries or playrooms, as a fun way to dry little hands in bathrooms, or just as a buddy to hang out with! The project can be finished in about half a day."
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook, H/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Finished SizeApproximately 15-18 inches long

I love the sweet faces on these jellyfish. They are so simple to work up, and the designer has provided several photos of the process, especially the final assembly. Theres also a .pdf available for a small fee. Do pay attention to the designers warning about not leaving a baby alone with the toy. One reason why I would go with embroidered eyes instead of safety.

Oh, wow! I cannot say enough about these "Friendly Jellyfish"! I just love One Dog Woof and her ingenious ideas- her "out of the box" thinking makes her designs some of the best out there. I am in love with the aqua and turquoise guy. Read all the fine print for all kinds of details about safe play with your little ones, though.

Love this pattern. It's the #BestIdeaEver for me, as I love to crochet Amirugumi sea creatures as I live on the coast. )

This is a great pattern. I mAde one and gave it to my grand daughter as a stuffed animal to play with. I used safety eyes so no choking hazard is involved. Now she tells me I need to make another one for her so she can hang it in her room so she has one to play with and one to look at.
