When one of my daughters was very little, she became convinced she was a mermaid. Now she has a small daughter of her own, and Im going to make this for Roses birthday. This project is a little easier than most amigurumi dolls as its worked from the top down as mainly one piece (only the arms are separate). I love the variegated hair, but do wish the designer had provided a link for that.

This is a cute mermaid amigurumi pattern. These could be used a decoration or throw pillows in a little girls bedroom or in a family room. The instructions on how to attach the hair are a little sketchy as I did not see anything about how to do the pattern of the hair placement.

Well it looks like I have another excuse for not doing my house work. My grand daughter loves fish and has her own large fish tank in her room. I have made her crochet fishes and sea shells for decorating her room. But what would it be without her very own mermaid? Thank you
