Festive Crochet Christmas Tree Amigurumi
A Christmas tree is one of the first signs of the holidays—windows light up from the twinkle lights on every branch, the town square puts up its community's tree, and families start hunting for that perfect evergreen. Working up a Christmas tree pattern for your shelves is such a festive way to add a little extra love to your decorations this holiday with one of the beloved symbols of Christmas. This free amigurumi pattern is an easy project for when the weather starts getting cooler, and it has a friendly personality with its button eyes and red trimmings.

I am jumping on the bandwagon for amugurumi projects this year. I am expanding my horizons. I think all my friends would love to display this in their house, on their work desk, wherever. It looks very easy to do! It looks like a simple project to try amigurumi for the first time.

I wasnt even thinking about the holidays until I saw a little teaser during the local weather report that it was only 161 more days until Christmas! They meant it to counter our recent string of 90 days, but for a crafter, that equals YIKES!!!! This sweet little amigurumi project is just the thing to get me in the mood.

I made three of these this holiday season, all for new babies. I added a rattle to the inside, sewed the scarf on for security and embroidered the eyes. Everyone loved them!

Very cute design, the pattern is very easy to follow for someone who is new to crochet. I have also made a larger version using 2 strands of lgt worsted/DK and a larger hook which has come out really well, I filled with a mix of rice and toy stuffing and made a doorstop. It would look really nice with beads / sequins to make decorations.

Adorable and very easy to make. I need to make up two for my twin grandsons for Christmas. Of course I will need to make one just a tad differently so they will know which belongs to whom. I am going to add some jingle bells inside them as an extra treat.
