"This manatee comes with an adorable upside down heart for a nose and wrinkles to make him chubby and huggable. The pattern is accompanied by a video tutorial of the front post single crochets used to make his wrinkles. Who can resist that sweet face? Made with worsted weight yarn, he is about 10 inches long and almost 6 inches in diameter. He would work well on a shelf or as a snuggle toy, but he would much rather be snuggled."

Im a native Floridian, so I was delighted to when this humble creature started getting well deserved attention. This is a fairly easy amigurumi to work up, but before you even start, you MUST watch the embedded video describing some detail around the manatees face. This detail needs to be worked in place and not added later. I love the droopy eyelids, too. Just adds to his charm.
