Using DK weight yarn and a 3mm crochet hook you can make this little alien guy from your favorite show Futurama. This makes for a great child's toy.

My son is the head of the IT department at the company he works for. He is a self proclaimed nerd. He loves bender. Every year I make him a creature to fit in with his sci fi universe. Last year it was a tiny yoda. This year will be bender! Thank you.

Futurama is one of my all time favorite shows and Bender is definitely one of my favorite characters. So, of course I had to make him when I saw a pattern for him. This pattern isn't hard, but it isnt written out exactly as a pattern. It tells you the row number and then how many stitches needed in that row and the color of yarn for the row, so you will have to figure out the increases and decreases yourself, but if you are familiar with working in the round, this is easily done. Some may want to write out the placement for increases and decreases before hand.
