Sock monkeys have without a doubt made a comeback within the past few years, especially in the crochet industry. Now that crochet baby toys can easily be made by such skilled people, these monkeys have become every Baby's Favorite Monkey. As baby grows into a toddler, he's going to want a best friend by his side to keep him company and feeling safe. This amigurumi crochet pattern is worked in continuous rounds with two strands held together for each part. The monkey stands at two feet tall and would make a great baby shower gift for an expectant mom.
Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Super cute. I have made sock monkeys from the Rockford Red Heel work socks, but I think this little guy is cuter!
