The Snow Drifter Chunky Blanket
"This chunky crochet blanket pattern makes a perfect timeless baby shower gift, but once you feel how soft it is, there's no way you won't want to make one for yourself too! You'll have the simple repeat memorized after the first row, making this a great project for Netflix-watching or girlfriend chatting. The other commenters are rightthis blanket just looks snuggly! I bought a few bundles of the Bernat Blanket on clearance but I didnt have a specific project in mind. This one looks so inviting that Im boosting it to the top of my short list for after Christmas projects. I might see about working it up in the Velvet Blanket yarn instead. That would be amazing!

I agree that this would make a perfect Netflix and chill blanket. It looks so cuddly. Sized as it is, this would be an awesome baby blanket or baby shower gift. Enlarged slightly or to whatever size you prefer and it makes a great snuggly blanket for adults.

So for me, I'd like to make this and keep this one for my OWN self! I am going to be a buzz kill right now... this baby blanket that has small holes in it is not recommended for little, tiny babies because they can and will get their fingers or toes caught and possibly wrapped up in it and it may cut off their circulation. That being said- just save this for the older "kids" in the family! It is a home made gift that the family will treasure for years to come. Maybe with the extra 1/2 skein of unused yarn you can make a few poms to accent the corners?
