Wow, I was a little surprised when I clicked the link above to get the pattern. The blog I was sent to is a very simple blog. There are no additional pictures of the afghan there other than the extreme close up of the star that is in the afghan. The instructions are basic.

Love this pattern and especially the colors. I had no problem saving it to my downloads so will print it from there. The instructions are quite self explanitory and I like that the pattern makes it own edging. Can't wait to get started on this one.

If you have Word on your computer, copy and paste the photo and instructions then you can print it easily. I have Word Perfect on my computer and I do this all the time as some patterns just won't print from the site. Hope this helps.

Tried twice to print this great pattern and had no luck. Five pages of nothing. Can someone give me some direction on what the secret is. Thanks

At first, I did a "print preview" to see the number of pages. It showed only one page and it was not the complete pattern. I went into "View" and reduced the size of the pattern to 60%. When I printed, I printed it as "current page." It came out perfect! Hope this works for you.

I click on pattern and the instruction only have 5 rows -- there's got to be more than 5 rows to get 50 inches long???

Well, finally got it printed. Not PDF, and it took 5 pages to get it done. Never did get to the web site of the directions given, no other links, nothing! Guess I'll glue the directions together to get one page.

I can not understand row 2 to save my life, I took it to a friend who is more than knowledgable and does not comprehend the * ** in row 2. I really would like to make this for my great great niece who will be born in March. If somebody can explan it more clearly for me, I would appreciate it!!!!!!

I'm so glad my local librarian got me on to the alternative of using Mozilla Firefox. I use the pc's at her library and it's made all the difference when I could not download a pattern, for whatever reason, using Internet Explorer. Do try that when you have a problem with downloading.

When you say "fasten to C color", do you mean crochet both colors together a couple of stitches or tie them together or something else?

@Char55: Sorry you are having trouble. You should not need to download this pattern. If you simply click on the link, the pattern should open in a new window or tab in your web browser. Hope this helps! -- AllFreeCrochet Editors

The pattern seems to be working fine on our end. Try a different browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer. Thanks!
