This is an excellent design that honors Native American motifs. The stitches are easy to work, but it can be a bear trying to manage the spindles. The designer suggests a very clever way to figure out just how much yarn youll need to wind on the individual spindles, and the next time I tackle any complex C2C project, I will certainly use it!

Quite lovely! I can see that she has put in a lot of work creating her southwestern inspired afghan. I appreciate the detail she has put forth in her photos and step by step instructions. I may be naive, but I did not think of stabilizing all my different skeins/colors on a rack with pegs. Is this something that can be bought at a store or did she make that herself? Seems like a great idea.

First I couldn't find any south western designs and now I am finding them left and right. You people rock! This is just perfect. I had some remodeling done in this look and I think the addition of an afghan will make a nice finishing touch. Thank you for posting this easy, and pretty project.
