Polar Bear Blanket
"My "Polar Bear Blanket" was made using Bernat Blanket Yarn. It is part of my animal series blankets. I added several optional features to this one: button to wear as a cape; foot cozy to keep feet extra warm. It's super soft and sure to keep you toasty warm. It measures 34" x 53" with the foot cozy or 34" x 73" long without the foot cozy. I think the little hat on top just adds to the cuteness of this blanket."
Crochet HookL/11 or 8 mm hook
Yarn Weight(6) Super Bulky/Super Chunky (4-11 stitches for 4 inches)

This is down right adorable. I have two new grand kids so I better get moving on this. Thank goodness it's crochet so I can get it done fast. The pattern isn't too complicated and I have what I need so it's on the to do list for sure. The twins thank you and so do I.

These are so cute. What kid doesnt want to play super hero at some point. Love the idea of having this blanket with an option for it to be worn as a cape. Now kids can also play pretend to being a zoo animal and stay warm and snuggly at the same time. Great playtime idea.
