I don't know about you, but for me this yarn resembles Red Heart's Unforgettable. Maybe if you can't get your hands on the specific yarn the designer recommends, the Unforgettable would make a great alternative. Mindless pattern! No stitch counting! Watch tv! Create impressive project! The colors look like a kaleidoscope.

Very ingenious idea. I do agree that it is hard to concentrate on your crochet while you are trying to talk and catch up with friends and family. I like the idea of this blanket pattern that doesnt demand your entire attention. Very colorful and bright blanket. Looks very easy to make.
