This is one project that you actually DONT want to start with a Magic Circle. The open work at the center is an integral part of the lacy flower itself. The instructions are clearly written (just skip over the Dutch portions) and the designer provides close up photos for each step. She does use a Join As You Go method to connect the squares but you could certainly complete each square and use your own way of joining.

This floral crochet blanket is very colorful and cheery. Crocheted with one of my favorites, granny squares. However, when I visited the page for instructions, they were not written in English. The never ending search continues. for the next big project.
