Cozy Clusters Baby Blanket
"If you’re looking for a fun, quick project then you’ll love making this baby blanket. The blanket is designed it to be crocheted with a large hook and bulky weight yarn to build up super fast for those of you who don’t have the patience for larger projects. An added bonus – this thick and soft blanket is sure to keep your baby cozy and warm in the upcoming winter months. The blanket measures 24" X 30" but you could keep working to make it large since it only needs an even number of stitches to follow the pattern."

How much yarn do I need to buy for this blanket?

Hi joanirwin 7072840, the designer used six skeins of a bulky weight yarn, each skein totaling 136 yards. So you will need to buy approximately 816 yards of bulky weight yarn. We also have a helpful article with tips on how much yarn is needed by project type here: https://www.allfreecrochet.com/Tips-for-Crochet/How-Much-Yarn-Do-I-Need. I hope this helps! - Laura, editor of AllFreeCrochet

One of the problems with many baby blankets is the amount of time it takes to work them up. This project uses a large hook (size J), but I would bet that bumping it up one more size to a K would work just as well. The Cluster Stitch is much easier to work than a Popcorn, and I love how neat the double row of Single Crochet edging looks. A lovely project!
