I look the colors used here the afghan is colorful and gives you the design as something like a ladder. It depicts a 3D look. I like it.

This color lovers crochet afghan by Bernat works up in a very pretty pattern. Just for a second it reminds me of the heart monitors used in hospitals with the blip design. For those that love color, this is the pattern to use. Do not forget about all the ends to weave in though, lol.

This is absolutely beautiful. I typically fall for the patterns that have minimal color because I am such a plain Jane but this item has been thoroughly thought out and the finished product is phenomenal. I love this afghan and even though I know I will not love the color changes, I will love the finished product. Thanks for sharing this pattern.

I actually decided to delve into this one but only recently. It is sitting in my current work in progress pile. It is going to cost you about $50-$60 for your materials. But we all know there are ways around that. I buy my yarn in installments so that I can keep using coupons!

Now this is just right on target for me. II love all of the different colors so it will go with just about anything. And the pattern of it will cover any of my mistakes. It is also a great way to use up all of my left over yarn. Thank you for sharing.

They say that this afghan is worked sideways. To clarify, does this mean the same thing as corner to corner? I've always been intrigued by this technique of crochet and have yet to try it for myself. I love the look of this, as I am a color lover! I would pick "version I" -)

Afghans are a huge favorite with me and everyone in our home loves them too. This fabulous riot of colors is going to be beautiful in our family room and I predict squabbles over who get to cuddle under it on the sofa in our coming winter, lol. Our teenage son rather likes version 2 offered above so I may well be making both.

I love this color lovers crochet afghan. Bernat has such wonderful yarn and a wide variety of colors to choose from. I like version 1 better of the 2 shown because it has so many more colors. Bulky afghans are just what you need for curling up at night by the fireplace to read a book. There are so many color combos that could be used with this pattern.

I love this pattern but prefer it in smaller stitches so will probably do mine in a HDC, it is a bit more dense and warm. I think it is sometimes called Apache Tears. Love it!!

Hi ladydi, This is a company pattern from Bernat/Yarnspirations, posted with their permission. Their pattern page for this afghan does not have any close-up photos, so there's nothing that I can provide to help you. You can contact Bernat's customer support and see if there's some way they can help you, though! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

Is there anyway of changing the pattern by leaving off the 7" tail? I would love this without the tail. Thank you!!

I was wondering if you could leave the 7" tail off and how would the pattern go for that? Thank you!!

I absolutely LOVE this afghan. Would you be able to tell me how to increase the width -- by how many stitches ... if you could email that information to me, I would be so grateful. Thank you so much.
