Watermelon Pin
"Aren’t these little guys just the cutest slice of FUN?!?! They are perfect to make pins or magnets, use as appliques for bags, garments, and pillows, or make a bunch and create a summer garland or bunting. Skill level is easy, only using sc. This pattern uses a Size "G" hook, make larger watermelons by using a larger hook. I made them into pins & attached them to greeting cards printed with the words "You're One in a MELON!"."

Watermelon just screams summer and we are now officially in Fall but that does not stop me from wanting to make these. I collect many things and watermelons are one of them. I have bowls, cookie jars and all kinds of textiles with the summer fruit gracing them. Now I can make a few of these and add them to items that need a little punch

These watermelon pins are too adorable. At least once a week, I drag in a watermelon from the market. My family adores them. These little darlings will surely brighten up that market tote I crocheted not too long ago. As the designer pointed out, they would also make great magnets. Heres to summer fruits!
