Sweet 'n Sassy 1 Skein Cowl
"This cute 1-skein cowl pattern is proof that simple and easy doesn't have to be boring! Using a self-striping yarn will really bring this project to the next level. I used a beautifully colored, and textured yarn from Hobby Lobby called "First Love" and believe any of the colors in this line would work wonderfully with this design. Because of the repetitive nature of the stitch pattern, this is a quick project that can be worked up in an evening, and is a great last minute gift idea."
NotesOne of my testers made this using #6 bulky yarn, and had it turn out nicely. It measured about 10" tall, and was more bunchy around her neck, but still super cute!

I love this Sweet and Sassy one skein Cowl pattern. It gives the option of turning this cowl into a shrug if you have extra yarn. Instructions seemed very simple and easy to follow. I will certainly try out both the cowl and shrug. They both are ones I would love in my wardrobe.

I am really loving this designers projects! It doesnt hurt that shes part of one of the 2017 CALs Im following either. This cowl is so cute and so versatile. I love the colors, but wouldnt a snowy white one with a pair of white poinsettias be great? I think I can even find gold glittered floral centers at one of our local chain craft stores, too. Make the flower detachable to launder the cowl.

Very colorful accessory piece. Tre chic. Love the flower and the button added to this piece to make it a little more feminine. This looks like a very large headband when I see the pictures of it unworn. Simple to follow instructions and quite a few pictures to go along with the written pattern.
