For the last ten years I have been wearing my hair locked and I often find it difficult to keep my hair out of the way when I am being active like exercising. I find headbands are a help so I am always grateful to find a new headband pattern. I like to switch up and I think that when I complete this one I will have a total of ten. Some I have made in more than one color so probably more than that. Thanks for this neat headband pattern.

I had not thought about making a matching bracelet to match the headband. Thanks for the idea princess6860504. I love to find patterns that show a lot of texture. This ribbed stitch is not lacking in that department. Thanks for the free pattern.

It doesn't get easier than a classic basic rib stitch. Headbands demand a certain amount of stretch, and the rib stitch is perfect for that. What a great beginner project. I like making a simple bracelet out of the same stitch pattern. You can match it to your headband.

This is a great basic headband thats perfect for even a Beginner. The only tricky part is learning to work in the Back Loop, but the designer takes the crafter through each step with a thorough photo tutorial. She explains how to determine you own head circumference, but also includes a link to another designers tips on figuring the right size for a gift.
