My Favorite Crochet Headband
"My favorite headband features the bean stitch, works up fast and looks great! The texture really gives it a great look and they are so fun to make. The headband has a button fastening that makes it easy to wear. I’ve made several already for craft shows and gifts and you can too! This pattern uses medium worsted weight yarn (about 1/2-3/4 of a skein) and size I crochet hook. Fun to make in a variety of colors!"

This headband starts and ends with a tapered end just like some of this designers other bands. But rather than being too thick, the main stitch texture is just right. The Puff Stitches alternate back and forth, and remind me of stalks of wheat lined up next to each other. Her suggestion of an I size hook works perfectly, but I may work a sample up in both a larger and smaller size hook just as an experiment.
