Hygge Pincushion
"The Hygge pincushion is a colourful crochet project to bring a bit of Hygge into your life. It combines crochet and cross stitch into a single project that doesn’t take long to finish. The pin cushion can be stuffed with regular toy stuffing, or special pincushion stuffing to make sure your pins and needles stay as sharp as possible. You will need just one skein of base colour and multiple colours of cotton in order to make your own Hygge pincushion."

How fun! The colors used are amazingly vibrant and I love that. I don't do embroidery onto my crochet, but I think I could try to learn with this fairly easy graph and pattern. For moms with little ones, these little pin cushions are easily used for a fidget or a squishy li'l toy. Maybe make one bigger and use it as a small pillow?!

My first question was why does a Dutch site have Danish patterns, but one look at my 6-foot plus Frisian relatives will attest to Viking visits in the past. The crochet portion of this project is very simple as its just a couple of plain squares. The real time consuming part is all the cross stitching thats required. All the necessary charts are provided.
