I wear headbands all the time, and although I tend to be pretty conservative where fashion is concerned, I do like a bit of whimsy now and then. The basic headband uses a Puff Stitch (7 loops), and the designer provides a short video demonstrating the technique. The band is worked flat, and do pay attention to where the next stitch starts, i.e. in the slip stitch not the space between the Puffs.
