Crochet Hook0 or 3.25 mm hook (steel)

Yarn Weight(3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)

DC yarn
adequate (recommended) hook

Instructions

Ch 90. Starting from 2nd ch from hook, make 1 hdc, skip 1, chain 1 and hdc in the next. Repeat this pattern until the end. When you come to the end, chain 4 and sl st between 2 hdcs. Chain 4 and sl st between hdcs to the end in the round, so that both sides have these 4-chains. Add a chain at the sides for tying.

I love the color combination of dark and light orange crochet like a ribbon. Perfect color choice for this model's skin and hair color.

Fast and Easy is the perfect name for this little quickie project. This would be such a nice beginner project since there arent any complicated stitches. The alternating half doubles give the base a nice net effect, and the loops along the sides give it a lacy finish. The author provided lots of step by step photos as well as a link to the heart she used to trim the headband. Very nice.
