This super easy project is designed to be a clutch purse, but with Back to School sales starting up, I thought it would make a cute pencil pouch, too. For that purpose, I would fold the pouch almost in thirds, and attach some Velcro under the flap to help keep it closed. If you have a Craftsy account, this pattern is available as a download for free.

This truly is a great beginner project. I am going to make sure everyone in my crochet class checks it out. Plus I want my grand daughter to give it a shot too. It's easy enough for her and I will be right there incase she has a problem but I don't forsee any.
