I had just found this pattern when I also got caught out running errands when the temperature dropped and the wind kicked up. Fortunately, two of my planned stops were both JoAnns and Panera. Since I never go ANYWHERE without my crochet bag, I picked up some bulky yarn and worked this up while enjoying my hot tea at the coffee shop. Its now one of my favorite headband patterns, too.

I really like the colors in this earwarmer! Since it only takes half an hour to make, I would make one in light colors and another in darker colors. It looks so cozy!
