Autumn Chunky Hooded Cowl
"This cowl used up 5 skeins of Hometown USA from Lionbrand, luckily, it was the cheapest. The hood has been designed not to have a beak at the back.Bulky yarn that I could ever find and didn't break my bank. Whenever designing with Bulky yarn, my mantra has always been to keep it simple and let the yarn do all the talking. This cowl is simple and quick to make and uses a variation of the dc to add some texture to your work."

I love the look of hooded cowls. This pattern is really easy to follow. I do not usually keep super bulky yarn on hand though, so I will have to do some investigating and see what I can find. This would be the perfect thing to wear during the cold winter months!

This is a very girly-girl chunky hooded cowl, perfect for over your wool peacoat. I like that it is worn as a cowl with the hood down, becoming part of the cowl then if it starts to snow you can swing up that hood. It's an all-in-one accessory piece. It does eat up about 6 skeins of that Hometown bulky (Lion Brand) yarn, so think about using those coupons from the big box craft store!
