Velvet Christmas Bauble

"Use this free pattern to whip up some quick ornaments using your leftover partial skeins of velvet yarn. Each ornament only takes a small amount of yarn and works up super quick. The pattern uses some slight variations on the single crochet stitch. So, it's a great opportunity to practice these stitches while making some squishy soft Christmas ornaments. Use Bernat Baby Velvet, Bernat Velvet, or another velvet yarn. The patterns calls for worsted weight velvet. A slightly heavier bulky or super bulky weight will work too. Your ornament will just be a little bigger. The stitch variations avoid the gaps in the fabric so the ornament holds stuffing well."
