Santa Club Crochet Coaster
"I’ve been fascinated by the Christmas accessories since I was a teenager, but recently I began to come up with ideas for doilies, coasters, shawls and other things for Christmas. This year I came up with this Santa Club Coaster. I hope you like it. It’s easy to make if you just follow the instructions carefully."
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook
Yarn Weight(3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge22 stitches and 10 rows = 10 cm in double crochet
Finished Size7 x 7 inch / 18 x 18 cm (approx.)

Forget about a coaster, how about joining a number of these together to form an afghan? It's just the perfect type of afghan to make for the coziest chair in the living room. It'll be a fair amount of work and consume a pretty good amount of time, so you should start on this now!

This is just so clever! I love how the faces interlock to form the coaster. The designer takes the crafter step by step with detailed photos, and even includes an international chart if thats what youd prefer to follow. The only change I would make would be to work the beard portion in a fluffier yarn than plain worsted. What a wonderful craft sale item, too.
