Quick Crochet Cord ‘Paperchain’
"Who remembers making paper chains as a child? This has always been a great way to decorate your home - whether it is for the festive season, a birthdays or any other sort of party. This is a modern reworking of the retro paper chain in crochet! This fun, quick stash busting project uses slip stitches to make a crochet cord. The pattern includes a video showing how to make the crochet cord which you can use to make these ‘paperchains', or for any other project. Yarn Weight(3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet GaugeThe gauge is not important here. You can use any yarn and hook to change the size of the cord

I think making paper chains in the first grade was the very first Christmas ornament I ever made. Ive made plenty since then but these simple little rings still have a place in my heart. Plus its a craft I can work on with even my youngest beginning crocheters. I know how proud they will be to turn their practice chains into something actually useful and ornamental!
