I love these classic looking Christmas coasters. Where is the "basket"? I think what it actually is, is a holder to place the stack of coasters in. I was looking around for a large basket. -) Neat craft fair project and neat stocking stuffer idea. Oh, don't forget teachers, neighbors, mailman, and hairdresser. I love creating. It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy. You can even do solid colored ones, mixing and matching colors and the variegated within a set.

This is a great, easy, cute gift. For yourself or others. And if you hook a few of them together they would make a great center piece. Or make one of my favorites , a table runner. I have a very pretty wood grain table and I don't want to cover the entire table so a runner us perfect.

Even though this is labeled as a Christmas project, you could change the color of the yarn and make these for any time of year. Since they come with their own little storage basket, these would make wonderful hostess gifts or bazaar sellers. Depending on what colors you choose, these would be great scrap busters, too. The pattern is more than easya slightly larger version of the coaster forms the bottom of the basket!
