Lace Angel
This sweet lace angel crochet pattern is perfect to work up for the holidays or any time you feel that heavenly inspiration. And don’t be intimidated by the delicate design … she’s easier to work up than she looks! Here is what you will need to make this Lace Angel crochet pattern: Size 10 crochet thread 1.75 mm crochet hook cotton ball or fiberfill stuffing a pin (I find a T pin works best) fabric stiffener scissors and needle for finishing stitch marker (optional)
Crochet Hook6 or 1.8 mm hook (steel)
Yarn Weight(0) Lace (33-40 stitches to 4 inches). Includes crochet thread.
Finished SizeFinished angel measures approx. 5 in. high and 3.5 in wide.

The more I expand my little circle of crochet students, the more I see the value in teaching how to work from a symbol chart. This project is a nice combination pattern where while all of it is written down, part is also illustrated by a chart. Most of my senior ladies balk at any new methodology, but I still have a few adventurous ones. My teen students dont have a problem at all with the symbology.
