Ice Skate Bauble

"It is never too early to start Christmas prep, right? So get ahead of the game and crochet up a couple of these realistic looking ice skate baubles to decorate your tree, gift to a friend or even use a present toppers. This design uses dk yarn and a 3mm hook, but it could also be scaled up by using aran/worsten yarn and 4mm hook. The bauble is slightly stuffed to give a 3D effect, but if you have no stuffing to hand, you can always use the threads you have cut off."
