This adorable tree skirt uses the simplest of stitches and gives plenty of results. The natural ruffling due to the planned increases adds to the fullness even though the fabric itself is only one layer thick. This would be a nice Beginner project as theres basically only one stitch to contend with, and it repeats throughout the entire pattern. It would be easy to adjust it to any size tree, too.
