"This Retro looking Crochet Christmas Bells pattern is a part of the Christmas Ornament Mini CAL (Crochet- A - Long). All the patterns are amigurumi type but easy to make. Using less than 30 yards, you can make this one Christmas bell in 30 minutes. Gauge is not very important for this pattern. These crochet bells are worked with sport weight yarn in Red and White colors. Ribbon bow and large size beads or jingle bells can be used to add a more decorative look."

Heres another ornament pattern Im printing out for my senior ladies (Im also including the little stuffed tree as well). I want something that works up very quickly, uses only basic stitches and can be worked on at home as well as during our meetings. Were fortunate that the Senior Center has allotted us a small budget for supplies, so no one has to go home empty handed.

These are so cute. I love the way the join is made with the crochet hook instead of having to find the big thread needle. I will have to remember this technique to incorporate it into some of my other projects. This certainly speeds up the process. These crochet bells will make excellent ornaments to hang from my tree.

You know what I think of when I see these? I think they would be perfect for a fun and playful cat toy! Put a bell in the inside with the stuffing. FUN! I was looking for a small gift for my sister's cat. I always like to get that little munchkin something. These are much better than cheap plastic toys from the dollar store.
