"This crocheted nativity set includes Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus in a manger, a star, 2 shepherds, a sheep, and a donkey. The figures range in size from about 2 1/2" tall to 7 1/2" tall. Most of the pieces are crocheted in the round, the exception being the manger, which is made in flat pieces that are then crocheted together."

This has to be one of my favorite Nativity set patterns. Its great for Beginners as the basic shape is so simple to work. You can stop with the Holy Family, or challenge yourself with the rest of the figures. That donkey is just adorable! If youre not handy with woodworking tools (or dont know someone who is), Ive seen the empty stables at local craft stores. Another tip Instead of using a cloth circle for the weight, a coffee filter works just as well.
