Im a fan of stripy things, so Im putting this project on my To-Crochet list. I love the colorful design, and using the Modified X Stitch to give it plenty of texture. Ive worked the Cross Stitch and Double Cross Stitch, so I was already familiar with them. The author thoughtfully includes a step by step photo tutorial just for this stitch. She also includes a link to download a free .pdf of the project. And yes, one half of the cross stitch does hug the other!
