OMG! I love this pattern. I clicked in to get the directions and wouldn't you know it, the designer had a few other ornaments to crochet. I love the idea of having the traditional balls and these that look like the lights. I have a small tree in my office and if I start now I can have a crochet themed Christmas tree.

When I see this type of Christmas light it brings back such fond memories of my childhood Christmas's. My Mother was way out ahead of her time and what she could do with Christmas lights was fantastic. She usually used this type of lights and she always made our home beautiful.

Im so happy I stumbled across this little Crochet Along project. Theres so much out there, that Im bound to miss something! Although you could work them in the traditional bulb colors, this is also a fun scrapbuster, too. I cant find a truly silver yarn for the tops, but I have some soft gray that would work. Love the hangers, too! Wish shed included the pattern for those.
