A very pretty stocking, but not enough to tempt me. As I read through the pattern (all text and no photos), I didnt find it that difficult but it is fiddly. Im also a needle tatter, so Im quite familiar with lace making. What really turned me off was the block shape. Not exactly what Im looking for in a Christmas stocking. For that much effort, I would have expected a nicely turned heel.

Love this stocking! I think I'm going to make them with dark blue lace weight yarn and a white liner. Maybe silver trim if I can find a sparkly fun fur I like for it. Lovely!
