I appreciate the video on how to switch colors. It was a short video but I always learn something when I take the time to look. This is a pretty simple pattern and if you have a Harry Potter fan, I am sure they will love a scarf like this one.

I recently learned that the little boy that lives next door to me is a Harry Potter fan. His name is Raymond and he is just the most polite little boy that you will ever want to meet. He helps me with my groceries and even brings my trash can to the curb all without being told. I think he would love this scarf. I am clueless to the "versions" but I am positive he will know.

I'm learning how to crochet just to make this scarf. I'm going to make it in black and yellow because I'm a Hufflepuff.

I found this pattern some time back when looking for HP scarf patterns. I like it because it actually states how much yarn you need; other patterns I found were very vague in that area. It worked up really nicely for me, and I was a relative newbie to crochet.
