These are cute, but I dont particularly like the way theyre constructed, i.e. the sides being separate from the tongue. However, I can find several usable parts for other projects. I really like using the novelty button on the side for a logo, and I love the choice of colors. I also really appreciate the detailed photos about attaching the body of the shoe to the sole.

I enjoyed learning how to make these. The first pair took a bit of counting, turning, and trying to figure out the shape to match to the pattern, but after that, I got a lot quicker! I make them for baby showers and use the colors of the parents' favorite teams. Everyone always gets a great 'kick' out of them! #BestIdeaEver

I had no problem finding the pattern. And I do remember these sneakers from long ago. I am so glad I got back into crocheting again. My twin grand kids are going to have one very nice and full wardrobe thanks to allfreecrochet.com. Thank you so very much for providing all these wonderful patterns at no cost.
