I am really glad to see someone share a free crocodile baby bootie pattern. These are really popular, but they always seem to be paid patterns. I love the way the Unforgettable yarn worked up with them. This is one of my favorite yarns to work with because it is so pretty and soft. But, if you don't have much experience with the crocodile stitch, I recommend practicing with another yarn first because this yarn is made roving style and is very hard to frog because the little strands get stuck together.

I love making these booties! There are so many different patterns for baby booties that use the crocodile stitch, which I love. They work up really quickly, which is always a good thing for me! You can make these in any color, so they are perfect for either a boy or girl!

Im not crazy about the variegated purple in the sample, but the link has a set of instructional videos where the designer is using solid white. That makes it much easier to see the detail of the Crocodile Stitch. The same pattern is used for all three sizes of booties you just change the size of the hook used for the project. The instructions are clear enough, but I would still advise watching the videos before proceeding.
