I love simple, scrapbuster projects I can hand out as homework for my crochet students. This is also the perfect little project to make up as kits to send to my various crafty granddaughters, too. I can print off the instructions, cut the right amount of yarn, work up a sample, and for the price of a couple of stamps, they know that Grandma is thinking of them!

Crocheted bookmarks are a quick and easy way to use up small quantities of yarn. Great as a stocking stuffer idea too. I have made several of this pattern and it really is super easy. Nice as a neighbor/teacher/colleague holiday gift idea and it fits nicely into a greeting card.
