Mermaid Planner Clip
"This mermaid tail planner clip is a great way to add style and substance to your planner. It can also be used as a bookmark. This is a great package topper, teacher gift, or a favorite for an avid reader. It uses a mini skein, which means you can make it in every color! It also uses a standard 2-inch paper clip, so the odds are you have one in your junk drawer already!"

With a tail like this, those paper clips will not be getting lost. As a retired school teacher, I would have love to have a few of these. My forth and fifth grade students really would have gotten a kick of seeing these in my lesson plan and teachers edition books.

This is such a cute idea, and perfect for someone who wants to add a bit of whimsy to a boring office desk. The designer calls for Bon Bon yarns, but there are so many other boutique and unusual yarns out there. One of my favorite places to hunt for these little gems usually has a big bin of small skeins for $1 each. Just the thing for scrapbusters like these!

For all of the mermaid lovers, this is one to add to the collection. This project will not take long at all to make and before you know it, you could have a "school" of these. By the way, I googled what a group of mermaids would be called and no one really had an answer.

I am not sure what I was thinking, but for some reason I was thinking that you make the mermaid fins and you gift THAT. I don't know why I didn't think that you would glue the fins to the paper clip and you would give the entire thing as a cute little "I'm thinking of you" gift! Too funny on my part. GREAT idea on her part. My question is- can we get the Lion Brand Bonbons yarn packs anymore?
