This is a great free crochet pattern to create a beautiful Crocheted Trellis Bookmark for the next novel you enjoy. Add or subtract rows to adjust the length; be sure to use an even number of rows so the edging works out properly. This would make a great gift for your favorite bookworm.

This is a cute bookmark! I am always looking for simple patterns like this that will work up quickly and turn out so beautiful. I love the variegated yarn, but this would also look great in a solid color. I could make this for myself, or any of my family who loves to read! Thank you for the awesome pattern!

This lacy design reminds me of many of my tatted bookmark patterns. I can tell you from experience that the variegated threads work up even prettier than the solid colors. Its also great for holiday themes, too. You could make it green with a red ribbon for Christmas, red with a white ribbon for Valentines, or pastel variegated with yellow for Easter. Or make it all in white for First Communion.
