Neon Pink Slouchy Beanie
What every crocheter needs in their pattern collection is a hat like this Neon Pink Slouchy Beanie. Of course you don't have to choose neon pink as your crochet color, but the crochet design is an easy one and can be worked up in about two hours. The fun part about a crochet beanie like this is not only choosing your color, but adding an embellishment to make it your own. A crocheted flower or bow would look adorable sewn to the side. Make one for yourself and then make one for each of your friends and family members as a holiday gift. You can't go wrong with handmade gifts.

I would call this more of a beret, because of the way that it lays on the back of the head- more of a flat and spread out style. To me, a slouchy beanie is really a longer tube that sort of hangs down a little bit. However, that doesn't take away from the cute look of this hat. It truly is a beginner "in the round" hat project. You'll get your practice!

Reading patterns takes practice, especially with hats. I personally had a tough time crocheting hats, but at least you can work it up by the photo! Thanks, Christine Editorial Community Manager for AllFreeCrochet
