One of my teen granddaughters received a scented soap making kit for Christmas, so I think Im going to pass this pattern along to the little entrepreneur. Shes thinking of starting her own little business and selling to her classmates, and having a bath mitt as a bonus cant help but boost her business. The soap has to set overnight, so shell have plenty of time to work these up.

This is a great gift idea. I have made mittens, gloves and fingerless gloves so this should be easy for me to whip up.i have a gift box that was given to me with scented soaps. There are six of them. If I make six mitts, I will have some emergency gifts at hand.

Why should Bath and Body works get all the love this holiday season? Give gifts that are handmade and recyclable or repurposable. You can always add you favorite scent from bath and body works to the package in the form of some bath wash to go with this pretty sparkle bath mitt.

What a cute idea! I am considering making one of these for each of my girlfriends. I would present it along with a nice natural hand made soap or a shower gel if that is preferred. Dare I say, this would be a great craft show offering. The mitt is worked in rounds from the top down, then the cuff is loosely created. Thumb is worked and attached at the end. A lot of mitten patterns are normally made this way.
